You gotta know when to hold 'em - you gotta know when to fold 'em!

I have a dilemma.

I have reached a point when i don’t know the answer. And if you know me, I always want to have the answers.

My gut says one thing - and I rank my gut - its instincts have served me well in business and in life over the years. Then my heart and my head say otherwise …

So who do you believe ? Who do you listen to ?

In the past year, I have listened to so much advice - some good, some bad and some downright ugly - and as a result I have reverted back to what I know. My gut feel , my like of people and who I think I trust and love.

Do I listen to my business mentor? Do I believe my strongest supporters? Do I champion my colleagues?

As many of you know I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful kids - now almost adults - and this is feat achieved by little old me - who is so scared of pain - I did that ! Twice ! The midwife saw the fear in my eyes and jumped right up next to me and hollered instructions in my ear. That was exactly what I needed - someone to say - just jump! Trust me - believe me - follow me and JUST GO! Someone who worked out I needed a PUSH

In business - we live in fear - will we get paid? Will we have enough $$ to pay the rent, wages - even ourselves …it is so hard to know when to hold tight and when to throw in the towel.

I’d like to think I can help - I’d like to think that no matter what is going on - I can hold your hand and help you to breathe - in and out - and jump with you - just remember sometimes I am also contemplating my own leaps of faith !! Being in business takes energy and passion - it exhausting but ultimately rewarding - I know , because I live that rollercoaster every day and sometimes I too want to get off.
